four strange figures start to loom.
Noodles shuffles, shoelace trailing,
Reba groans, the coffee’s failing.
Short Circuit trips—his wiring’s fried,
TestTube sighs, “This fog won’t subside!”
They march on with sleepy eyes,
grumbling ‘bout the damp sunrise.
Till Noodles gasps, “Wait just a sec—
is that a waffle house up ahead?”
With newfound strength, they make their play,
a feast to start this foggy day!
