Death by Cornhole

Conditions: 73 deg F, still humid

With Hurricane Dorian closing on the southeast coast, YHC wanted to warm up to Rock You Like a Hurricane by the Scorpions. When reviewing the lyrics to come up with the right workout for it, YHC came to realize that the song has nothing to do with an extreme weather event. Look up the lyrics at your own NSFW risk. YHC chose the more family friendly Bad Moon Rising by CCR. Every time Bad Moon was said, change from Squats to Merkins or Merkins to Squats. Bring on Dorian.

The Thang

Grab a cindy and mosey to the backlot. 2 cornhole boards were set up. One was for Reps, and one was for Exercise. Each PAX would take a turn on each board. Getting the bag in the hole resulted in the least amount of reps, or the easiest exercise of the group. On the board was the medium reps/exercise. Missing the board was the most reps or the hardest workout.

Only a single ringer was made, by Nutmeg. The rest of us consistently missed the board. The full list is below, with the actual reps/workout highlighted in bold.

This was supposed to be a fun workout with a few hard exercises, and multiple rounds through. It ended up as pretty much all hard exercises and all high reps. But I will pull this one out again sometime.

The Q called for the block webbs to count by odd numbers after the first 5 rounds. So it went 1:2, 2:4, 3:6, 4:8, 5:10, 7:14, 9:18, 11:22, 13:26, 15:30.

We all met up at Front Porch on Hwy 80 for some coffeeteria afterward.
