Combo

Warm up-

9 in the gloom came for the daddy-daughter dance; there was a lot of dancing with Cindy. Was the real party was happening at the new AO across town?

Here at this AO, the Q, and the exercises came in combos.

The Thang-10 stations with a combo of 2 exercises at each station, 5 rep count of each exercise, repeated until told to rotate. 1 person at each station on rotation. With only 9 people, a station was occasionally skipped to keep someone on the 10th station consistently.

  1. Curl, overhead press w/ cindy.
  2. Merkins, mountain climbers
  3. American Hammers, Gas pumpers w/ cindy.
  4. SSH, Stationary Runs
  5. Kettlebell swings, squats w/ cindy.
  6. V-ups, WW2
  7. Lawn Mowers on each side w/ cindy.
  8. Plank Jacks, Hand Release Merkins
  9. Tricep Extensions, Arm Extensions w/ cindy.

10th Station, and our timer, 5 tire flips out, 5 flips back. At halfway point between flips, everyone dropped and did 3 burpees. Once returned to starting position, all stations- second time around 8 flips of the tire and 10 each rep.

Brady Bunch was begging for more burpees, so after 1 full rotation, the tire station was modified to 8 flips out, 8 flips back with 6 burpees for everyone in the middle.

Apparently the thang made Noodles furious, and he challenged everyone to a fury: 10 reps each of SSH, Imperial Walkers, Merks, LBCs. Then 9. Then 8. Etc. All the way down to 0.

Named a FNG: He didn’t have a name your price tool, but still got named Flo.

Finished with count-o-rama, name-o-rama, pledge, announcements and prayer.

A little rhyme for Norm and Honker?

A tire we did flip,

A station we did skip,

So that we could take Cindy to the dance.

9 pax did grow,

1 pax named Flo,

Brady Bunch and Burpees are a true romance.
