Hal, BB, Periwinkle, and dress shoes—took off without their habitually late friend, Alice. Just as they hit their stride, Alice moseyed in, forcing a compassionate (or maybe just annoyed) rescue U-turn.
Their "shedding weight" run was chaos. Hal set a blazing pace, Periwinkle and Alice somehow eating air right behind him. Dress Shoes called it quits first, but BB picked up the slack, acting as the group's conscience and demanding three laps at the circle. BB’s return pace was near-fatal for Alice. The run ended with Hal the Machine logging an extra mile, while BB peer-pressured everyone else into 50 pull-ups.
