Four runners charged through the cold wet streets
Three had started early to get ahead of the sleep
They passed the usual places, gifts shops and churches
Until Bogey had a rumbling of epic proportions
A thunderous feeling, moved inside, "a peeping turtle," he cried
Quick find a bathroom before the streets fill with pooh
Past the SCAD buildings, he shouted "the JW Marriott will do!"
He slid past the receptionist, helping out hotel guests
Phew, so glad he didn't have to explain his distress
In the luxury hush of that Plant Riverside hall
Bogey answered the once heavy call
Tutti meanwhile was circling Forsyth, steady but weary of the sight
Somehow they all managed to link up again
Down Whitaker and back to the Memorial, good friends
