Tha Thang:
Back Blast – Run the Dice 🎲
Four 4×4 blocks (a.k.a. the dice) were strategically spread across the parking lot. The mission: complete all six exercises at each die.
Movement between stations kept the pressure on:
• Four PAX rotated on sled pulls
• Four PAX farmer-carried two cinder blocks
Each die brought its own flavor of pain:
• Die 1: Cindy-style classics
• Die 2: Core crusher
• Die 3: Six variations of merkins
Chaos struck on the move to the final die—penalties were assessed:
• 5 burpees for a missed farmer carry rotation (one PAX had to pull a sled and carry a block)
• +5 burpees thanks to a drive-by horn honk 🚗📣
Die 4 (The Finisher):
The toughest station of the day—featuring brutal block carries including:
• Goblet hold side straddle squat
• murder bunnies
• Chest carry duck walk
Time ran out before all reps were completed on the final die.
Cinder blocks were returned, and the beatdown closed strong.
Summary:
High intensity from start to finish. One PAX tapped out near the end—proof the work was real.
COT:
Vinyl has beatdown on Saturday – focused more on F2.
A couple PAX will be traveling out of town.
Remember that the work doesn’t stop in the gloom. One PAX shared about spending time with a friend who’s been sober for three years and the impact of being a strong guidance and accountability in his friend’s life.
After the beatdown, fellowship continued as we put away equipment and talked through life, struggles, and victories. A brother took the time to pray—for strength, for perseverance, and for continued growth.
Let this be a reminder:
We’re called to lead not just in fitness, but in fellowship and faith. Be the man in your circle who sets the example. Reach out to those who are struggling. Encourage, mentor, or simply listen. You never know the impact you might have.
Leave no man behind, and leave no man where you found him.
