WarmOrama:
Plank Disclaimer especially since we had an FNG. And of course went through the F3 Core Principles in proper order.
We might have done a few:
– Moroccan Night Clubs
– Slow Squats
– Thru the Tunnels
– Those Whirly Bird Thingies with your arms in the air
Reminded the PAX that this is you vs. you. No one is trying to be a hero out here, except maybe R-12 or Cheddar. Three PAX wore their rucks, although not a requirement to participate.
Tha Thang:
Very simple movements but first we started with a lap around the bus loop. Then the following exercises:
1) Squat – Jump – Squat x 1
2) Merkins X 3
3) Mountain Climbers IC x 5
That’s one set. And since the pre-blast said it’s nice to be young again that determined the number of rounds we would go. Since Cheddar Biscuit showed up (and it wasn’t just me and a bunch of respects), we ended up doing 19 rounds total OYO.
After finishing 19 rounds it was another lap around the bus loop. And then to pick up the six as necessary. Once all PAX were back we did some Mary. Flutter kicks with a ruck press, gas pumpers with a ruck press, and American hammers holding the ruck as your hammer.
Just by sheer fortune, our FNG (hospital name Kevin) said he liked all kinds of music and reminisced about the days he would burn mix tapes and CDs. This, during the workout today we were able to listen to the soothing sounds of: Biz Markie, Foo Fighters, Run DMC, The Lumineers, Gorillaz, Digital Underground, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
COT:
Welcome to our newest FNG -> Mater! He sells tow-truck insurance. Go figure. Although for some reason R-12 was campaigning for the F3 Name “Ta-Ta”. I will let him explain.
Don’t forget about F3 Coastal Empire Convergence tomorrow at Daffin Park at 0630.
Leadership Lunch Book Club at Panera at 12:00pm. Book is called Leaders Eat Last. It’s a good one fellas, come join us for the fellowship.
Lastly, let’s continue to pray for Mrs. Tutti Frutti, Sandra, and for Slick’s Mom, Hannah.
Thanks again for the opportunity to lead.
