Finished warmup with 20 hand-release merkins to really get the arms and shoulders pumping.
Tha Thang:
YHC made a promise about no running so the focus of today’s workout is explosive movement and reps. Each set of exercises were performed AMRAP style…as many reps as possible in the time allotted.
Legs (3 minutes):
Need two Cindy’s.
* 10 Overhead sit down Squats
* 10 Overhead step-ups on Cindy
Rinse, repeat until time is up.
Abs (3 minutes):
No Cindy.
* 10 V Up’s
* 10 E2K
* 10 American Hammers
Rinse, repeat until time is up.
Whole Body (however long it takes):
Need Cindy at first tree.
* Do 7’s. One Squat Thruster first at the tree. Bear crawl to next tree. Then it’s six burpees.
* Run back to first tree.
* Increase each rep by one and repeat until six thrusters.
Arms (5 minutes):
Need just one Cindy.
10 Bicep Curls
* 10 Tricep Press
* 10 Derkins
Rinse, repeat until time is up.
We ended up repeating a round of legs and abs until ENDEX.
Finished off with group doing 40 SSH IC. The thought of splashing merlot at my own workout did cross my mind a few times earlier (especially during bear crawls).

Continue to pray for those families affected by COVID. YHC wanted to request additional good thoughts for my youngest daughter’s Godfather that was admitted to Memorial trying to battle the virus.
Let’s all continue to strive to be better men, husbands, fathers, etc. We owe that much to our families and communities.
