Michael Phelps disclaimer. I’m not a professional. I just look like one. I also don’t know your own injuries so modify as necessary. And as always, this workout is You vs. You. Don’t try to out-burpee DoorJam, out-Cindy Run Slick, or out-Merk Cheddar Biscuit.

We might have done some Moroccan Night Clubs, Thru the Tunnels, Chinooks forward and backward, and Don Quixote’s.

Tha Thang:
First evolution is the Bataan Death March. Combo of Catch Me If You can and traditional Indian Run. The last guy runs to catch the group, tapping the (new) last Pax on the shoulder, who then stops to begin his 5 burpees, while the (former) last guy continues on to the front of the line. Continue until all Pax have performed a set of burpees. The one wrinkle here is that whoever is in the front has to carry the flag with them until the handing off to new Pax in front. The flag leads the way.

Once all done with the March, we will do alternating sets of Merks and Ab exercises. Remember, Pax need to alternate holding the flag:

Round 1 – HRM / E2K (50 OYO)
Round 2 – Diamond Merks / Crunchy bullfrog (50 OYO)
Round 3 – Carolina Dry Docks / Stationary Bike (50 OYO)

Next, another Bataan Death March. But this time we had to add all the weighted items from Door Jam’s truck and Pergo’s SUV. There might have been a couple of rucks and a new sandbag. Again, the flag leads the way. Then alternating sets of Merks and Ab exercises:

Round 1 – Peter Parkers Merks / Hello Dollys (50 OYO)
Round 2 – Ranger Merks / Heels to Heaven (50 OYO)
Round 3 – Crucible Merks / Capt Thor’s – 1 BBSU per 4 American Hammers (10 IC)

As The Colosseum motto goes, “This workout looked good on paper.”

#Rama, Name-a-Rama
Qsource today. Book club on Friday. Richmond Hill Saturday workout now at Westside location. T-claps to Pergo for doing recon this past weekend and reporting back.

Prayer requests for those dealing with sickness, the family and friends of two young men that tragically died in a boating accident, and remember those waking up to darkness and despair in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida.

Continue to inspire, You Pax of The Colosseum!

Pledge, pray, and on our way!
