Warmup consisted mainly of strrreching, calves, hamstrings, quads. And a few Imperialist Walkers thrown in for good measure.

Tha Thang:
The workout:
Picked up Cindy. Got to a good wide spot on the pavement.  Gave everyone an orange cone and have them set the cinder block on the baseline.  Had the PAX choose a good distance by sprinting half to ¾ speed for 5 seconds.  At the whistle (shout, actually), we stopped and put the cone down.   That set the distance for each PAX.

Did a pyramid workout of sorts:
1 Merkin, 1 Squirrel — > sprint between the baseline and the cone
11 V-Ups & 11 Dollies  — > sprint between the cone and the baseline
2 Merkins, 2 Squirrel — > sprint between the baseline and the cone
10 V-Ups, 10 Dollies — > sprint between the cone and the baseline
Repeat till 11 Merkins and 11 Squirrels and 1 V-Up and 1 Dollie
That’s 66 of all 4 exercises = 264 reps

Rested a minute, then followed up with a 2nd pyramid workout, leaving the sprints at the same distances.
1 Ballerina Squat, 1 overhead press; 11 shoulder touches (each shoulder =1), 11 Monkey-Humpers
That’s another 264 reps for a total of 528

COT:
Good to see Door Jam make the drive up from the Coliseum, thanks for making the effort! Door Jam announced a convergence at the Coliseum, October 16, starting at 6AM, going for an hour and a half (!). Discretion advised.
Prayers were offered for Noodles M starting a new job, and for Noodles foot, which continues to bother him.

Verse for the day:
“Do not worry then, saying, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.
“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
