In a rare moment of divine inspiration, I woke up naturally at 4:45am. This is not normal. But, given the additional 45 minutes to contemplate a workout, I thought through some favorites from years past. The 300 stood out, but I could not remember how it went. Ultimately, if you do 300 merkins, it doesn't matter what else happens, so I grabbed the shovel flag and walked through the lonely streets of the southern ardsley park region.
Upon arriving at Hull Park, I planted the flag and waited. Knowing several pax were not coming, I was prepared to do the world's 300 loneliest pushups. Then, in a glowing white sedan, captain cheese arrived with a minute to spare. No penalty burpees needed.
