WarmOrama:
Betty Crocker lead the Warmarama. Some of us weren’t there on time so they didn’t know what everyone did for the WarmUp. Guess they’ll never know
R-12 & FlatTire briefed the group on the Rules of Engagement for the day. Ample warning was given against failing to uphold the Rules. For any team taking their turn leading, if they did not successfully follow the Rules of Engagement there would be a terrible price to pay.
Our Head Cadre: FlatTire had final say on punishments for any & all leadership failure & it was clearly established that arguing with the Cadre would lead to future punishment from the Coastal Empire’s very own Pissed Off Unicorn – Honker. He was our enforcer just in case a Pax got Froggy.
The Whole Group broke up into teams based on their home AO’s. The Cadre then mixed them up into x5 new groups. All the AO’s blended together into a diversified, multicultural, multi-generational, and all together inclusive new set of AO’s.
The x5 New blended AO’s were then tasked with leading one of our five beat downs and a section of the ruck route. For failures in 1) a missing Pax, 2) poor communication, 3) lacking safety, or 4) weak effort, the group in charge would be rewarded with an extra punishment. GOOD LUCK
Tha Thang:
Team #1 brought the pain and a great start to the Squatch with a successful beat down. It was commonly believed by all the Pax that if the Crab Walk had continued on much longer, we would all be dealing with a crushed Adam’s apple and questioning our pronouns. Unfortunately, they lost a pax on their portion of the route & it was NOT realized until they made it to their destination. Additionally, crossing guards were not in place while navigating the city streets amd therefore breaking our Safety rule. FlatTire rewarded them well
Team #2 fought hard to reel the momentum back in and get everyone on track. A good beat down ensued & their portion of the ruck went mostly well in spite of a few breakaway pax and some minor injuries. FlatTire’s reward made a positive impact! This was one of our longest legs on the route.
Team #3 had the difficult challenge of leading while we were at the farthest point from out start. The beat down was solid and it was good that our Head Cadre gave the Pax a chance to hydrate & change socks because everyone was starting to feel it.
Team #4 brought the creative pain with some Forest Gump trivia and a chance to work legs x2 in the same set! But as they say in the Seal Teams, it pays to be a winner and the reward was LEGIT! An On / Off shuffle down Bull St brought the crew back to the Park in sufficient time & crossing guards crushed their responsibilities often holding up traffic for as long as the six needed – Never Leave a Man Behind
Team #5 relinquished their opportunity to continue punishing their fellow pax by handing the reigns over to Honker for a little Pissed Off Unicorn circle of pain. Everyone was either to scared to challenge the unicorn or had lost enough feeling in their body that no one complained. At least not loud enough to be heard
All together we cover over 8.5 miles of rucking and completed x5 20 min beat downs. Solid Work Gents
COT:
So proud of the HIM’s in the Coastal Empire that took on the Sasquatch today. Between Richmond Hill & Savannah we had 50 pax show up to complete the event. You won’t convince me that this group isn’t committed to #KeepAccelerating.
Great communication, great effort, and awesome job keeping tabs on the 6. One thing was evident this morning. We have a lot of leaders in our region. Proud to call you all brothers.
For those that weren’t able to make it or that are on the fence about getting into the rucking movement. FYI we had x3 respects, x1 double respect, and several pax that showed up without any training and they were able to finish with us. This is not just for group of young and crazy pax. This brotherhood will encourage and challenge you every step of the way. So get off the fence. Commit to growing with your F3 brothers and join the movement.
