Title: Speed and distance are less important than showing up
Number of HIMs: 4
A-Boot, Betty Crocker, H.A.L., Rosie

Number of FNGs: 0
Name of FNGs:

WarmOrama:
OYO, some started early

Tha Thang:
Before the sun could even blink,
A few arrived to find their sync.
They logged some early miles in the dark,
Igniting the morning with a pre-run spark.

At 0530, all four PAX assembled in the morning air,
With a running itch and a steady flare.
The temps were cool, the morning was still night,
A focused, fast, and motivated flight.

HAL led the way with a steady hum,
While BC pursued with the steady cadence of a drum.
A-boot was gliding with Canadian grace,
And Rosie kept a smile on his face.

Pace varied 'tween an 8 to 10-minutes per mile,
We overcame comfort, sweating and panting all the while.
We each achieved a different distance,
Each mile earned with strong persistence.

From a 5K sprint to an 8-mile grind,
The numbers are just what we leave behind.
For the speed and the distance are secondary stuff,
Compared to the brothers who showed up in the rough.

COT:
Pledge and Lords Prayer. Checked in on each other, but praise for no immediate prayer needs. Except A-boots rib still healing from his son's elbow.
