WarmOrama:
OYO, HAL and BC got some early extra miles in.

Tha Thang:
The moon was high, the air was still,
As two men climbed the morning hill.
BC and HAL were out the gate,
To log some miles and challenge fate.
The "Pre-Run" burn was in the books,
Despite the sleepy, sidewalk looks.
At 0530, the trio was set,
With DQ joined in, the pace was a threat.
We hit the pavement, three abreast,
Putting our morning lungs to the test.
The darkness held a heavy shroud,
Until the sky began to get proud.
At 05:40 sharp, a glow in the East,
Awoke like a mechanical, fire-breathing beast.
A Falcon9 soared, cutting the night,
Bathed the horizon in shimmering light.
The plume was a ghost, a trail in the air,
Leaving the PAX to look and to stare.
But HAL didn't linger, he didn't look back,
He turned on the jets and scorched the track.
As the rocket ascended through heaven's high gate,
HAL set a tempo that decided our fate.
BC and DQ were left in the grime,
Battling wind and battling time.
With lungs like a furnace and feet like a drum,
The finish line neared, and we weren't quite done.
But try as we might to close up the line,
We were merely chasing the HAL-con9.
Like the rocket above, he was out of our reach,
A lesson in speed that only he’d teach.

The heavens showed out in a spectacular way.
Was a unique start to our Tuesday,
Whether rocket or runner, the mission is clear:
Aim for the stars and outrun your fear.

COT:
Pledge and Lord's Prayer.
