It's a Monday, where on cool, crisp and breezy streets
The UG hit the road with body glide and gentle beats
Another opportunity to show up and show out for each other
Hitting the black top side by side, living alongside a brother
This run club is more than miles obtained in our beloved city
Instead, each week I think of the pax that have helped me plenty
Pushing past fatigue or struggle, never giving up, never letting settle
They've pushed me to leave my comfort zone, to not waste time or meddle
No man left behind, we do our best to push beyond our limits
We have to be open and honest, willing to bear it all and win it
Regardless of circumstance or time, even weather, we're better off with each other
Side by side or shoulder to shoulder, let's show up and show out to cover
A small tribute to remind us all we're in this fight together, big and tall
