Ten men gathered for the NGT crew,
Drenched in the steam as the humidity grew,
No gloves on our hands, we pushed until we were through.
The air felt like soup on this 100% humidity day,
With 3.1 miles the standard on display,
Up to 9 miles of sweat in the heat of the fray.
We conquered the course in the morning light,
With spirits held high despite the heavy plight,
A burden shared with these PAX, means we all can Stay In The Fight!
