Did the typical Broga that highlights more issues than most guys care to talk about.

Tha Thang:
The Q started by taking away one of the PAX’s favorite workout tools—the clock. Watches were covered with tape. No countdown. No checking how much longer. Just do the work.

We jumped straight into a ladder built around breaking down and rebuilding the Blockee:

Round 1

2x Push-ups
2x Groiners
2x Bent-Over Rows
2x Goblet Squats
2x Thrusters
2x Blockees

Then the PAX took off at a decent pace for a run of a few hundred meters. Once the lead runner reached the turnaround point, everyone turned around wherever they were. The goal wasn't to win the run—it was to hold a consistent pace and bring the PAX back together.

Back at the start, we worked in some Broga before beginning the next round.

Then we did it again.

Each round added 2 reps to every movement: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10.

Same movements. Same run. Same expectation.

Just more work.

By the time we reached 10, what started pretty comfortably had become a different animal.

COT:
The Q was inspired by Daniel 6:10. After Daniel learned the decree had been signed making it illegal for him to pray to God, he went home and prayed three times that day “as he had done previously.”

That part matters.

Daniel didn't suddenly become faithful when the lions showed up. He had been putting in the work every day. When the moment came that required extraordinary faith, his habits had already prepared him for it.

The same applies to us. We don't become the husbands, fathers, leaders, and men God has called us to be when the big moment arrives. We become those men through what we consistently do every day.

That was also the point of covering the watches. Don't let the clock—or how you feel—determine the effort you give. Focus on the work in front of you and keep moving.

There will always be days when we don't feel like praying, training, leading, serving, or doing what needs to be done.

Don't wait for the occasion to rise. Put in the work now so you're ready when the occasion comes.
