We did some static stretches, LBC’s and Triple T’s.
Tha Thang:
We grabbed our Cindys and headed to one side of the parking lot.
The workout was simple. Every man had an opportunity to step up and lead.
On the Cindy side, any PAX could step forward, call out a block exercise, and lead the group. When his voice changed, we stopped, dropped our Cindys, and jogged across the parking lot.
On the other side, another PAX stepped up and led a bodyweight exercise. Same rules. When his voice changed, we headed back across the parking lot to our Cindys.
We continued going back and forth, giving different men the opportunity to lead until time was called.
Message: Come, Follow, Go
Today’s workout was modeled after how Jesus developed His disciples.
Come and See. When people encountered Jesus, they couldn’t help but tell others about Him. They invited others to come and see for themselves.
Follow Me. Jesus invited ordinary men to follow Him. As they walked with Him, they learned, grew, and developed their faith.
Go. Before they probably felt ready, Jesus sent them out two by two (Mark 6:7). He didn’t wait until they had everything figured out.
That was the challenge for the PAX today. Every man had an opportunity to lead. Maybe you’ve never led an exercise before. Maybe you didn’t feel ready. But sometimes you have to step up before you feel prepared.
One of the things I love about F3 is that every man gets a chance to lead, and every man gets a chance to fail.
Leadership isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about being willing to step up.
We’ve been called to more than just show up. We’ve been called to GO!
