Memorial Day 2018
YHC first did the Murph workout 2 years ago. It moved me enough that I wanted to Q this year’s Murph in Pooler. While the workout is called “The Murph” it was pointed out that Memorial Day is not about one man but the many who gave of their own lives so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have today. As YHC writes this backblast on the 74th anniversary of D-Day it is extremely sobering when you think about the number of men that lost their lives on that beach in Normandy, 19 and 20 year olds. What they overcame seems impossible but they succeeded. We can honor these men and women for at least 1 hour, 1 day a year with a fitting workout, one that seems impossible but together we pull it off.

Run 1 mile, 100 Pull-ups (some assisted but done by each PAX), 200 Push-ups, 300 Squats, Run 1 Mile.
We are all impressed by the extra measure one of the PAX took in wearing a 30lb vest for all of this!
