Shuttle run

22 Pax (including two FNGs) posted on a foggy 80 degree morning for day two of spaceflight week. Warmups were followed by penalty burpees for the late FNGs.

The space shuttle was carried to the pad on a crawler, which traveled at 1MPH when loaded. Therefore, the Pax collectively bear-crawled one mile (240ft each) across the front of the lot. Next was a mosey to the coupons, and each pax was issued a cindy.

Teams of three were formed, and each team shuttled cindys across two rows of the parking lot. One pax carried a cindy out or back while the others performed exercises—burpees (total of 135, one for each shuttle mission) and LBCs (355, one for each person who has flown on the shuttle).

Cindys were then collected, and a relay race run with pax running cindys out, then collecting them. The idea was for the winning team to decide the punishment for the others, but as a winner was unclear all pax did 20 hand-release merkins.

Last, pax did 14 blockees for the 14 astronauts who died on shuttle missions. Cindys were then stowed, and return to the flag for some Hammers let by R12.

Countarama and namearama, and the FNGs were named – welcome Blankie and Snuggie!
