I say Tabata, you say Ciabatta

YHC had never heard of a Tabata routine until I started working out with F3.  Originally, I thought Deuce was calling it Ciabatta.  It took a Google search to determine the proper terminology, while making me hungry in the process.  That’s the random, irrelevant intro to this post.

Mosey to the pavilion.

Chest Tabata Routine – 6 sets per cycle, 3 cycles total (~10 minutes)

Merkins (:20), Rest (:10)

Dips (:20), Rest (:10)

Plank Taps (:20), Rest (:10)

Repeat 1 time to complete a cycle.

:30 rest between cycles

 

Mosey to the back parking lot

Legs Tabata Routine – 6 sets per cycle, 3 cycles total (~10 minutes)

Squats (:20), Rest (:10)

Monkey Humpers (:20), Rest (:10)

Jump Lunges (:20), Rest (:10)

Repeat 1 time to complete a cycle.

:30 rest between cycles

 

Mosey to the Flag

Core Tabata Routine – 6 sets per cycle, only 2 cycles total due to time constraints … I didn’t hear a lot of complaining (~7 minutes)

Freddie Mercuries (:20), Rest (:10)

Flutter Kicks (:20), Rest (:10)

American Hammers (:20), Rest (:10)

Repeat 1 time to complete a cycle.

:30 rest between cycles
